Abstract: This study examined the effect of Green Procurement Practices in Enhancing Cold Supply Chain Performance atRwanda Medical Supply. Specifically, the study sought to determine the effect of green training and monitoring practices on cold supply chain performance at RMS. The study adopted a quantitative research approach using a cross-sectional research design. A total of 109 employees involved in procurement, warehouse and inventory management, logistics and distribution, quality assurance, and cold chain management were targeted and participated in the study. All 109 questionnaires were successfully completed and returned, representing a response rate of 100%. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires administered to the selected employees. Quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and simple linear regression analysis using SPSS Version 2.7. The findings revealed a strong positive and statistically significant relationship between green training and monitoring practices and cold supply chain performance (r = 0.761, p < 0.001). Regression results showed that green training and monitoring practices explained 57.9% of the variation in cold supply chain performance (R² = 0.579). The study concluded that regular employee training, environmental sustainability awareness, effective temperature monitoring, and timely correction of storage deviations were important for improving cold supply chain performance at RMS. The study recommended strengthening continuous employee training, improving environmental sustainability awareness, enhancing temperature monitoring systems, and establishing effective procedures for reporting and correcting storage deviations.
